Process Design

At the core of ChisTech is the nature of process design. While process design occurs naturally, we hardly notice it. When you decide to see a movie, your brain designs a process that will achieve your goal, sometimes giving you only the first step (if that's all you need), and sometimes all of the steps determined (so you can choose which should be your first step).

  1. Check which movies are on
  2. Call friends to join me
  3. Find car keys
  4. Drive to movies
  5. Watch movie

While this natural process is amazing, designing more complex processes will likely be more of an evolution once the first step is formed. You will start expanding the steps and breaking them down into smaller, more specific ones to simplify the task.

Step 1:
Process Design 1

Step 2:
Process Design 2

This process usually cannot be done all in your head, and will require either computers or good ol' fashioned paper. Regardless, once you have the process from your mind onto something more complete and visual, it requires defining. What are each of these boxes? Choosing the most appropriate equipment or sub-process can be difficult, especially if you are only limiting yourself to one industry practise.

Not only can ChisTech help you identify this process flow diagram, but then assist in choosing what each of the steps should be to optimise your inputs and outputs.
