Water Management

Situations where water management is required fall under two categories:

  1. You have more water than you can use
  2. You do not recover enough water to remove yourself from the water grid

The first situation is generally more difficult to overcome. This can come about when more rain is falling than can be consumed or evaporated, especially when the water quality is an issue. Water purification technologies can address the quality, and with vast experiences with most technology available, we can help choose the right equipment for your needs. Creating a water balance and then a making a plan to operate which will maximise consumption, or minimise capture, is how we can help you in water management. With advanced software we can simulate hundreds of scenarios which will give you a good idea of the limits of what is possible.

The second situation is usually less felt if water can simply be purchased. While much work is required in areas where water cannot simply be purchased, the costs of water is continually increasing and minimising consumption and/or maximising water capture should become part of any operational plan. Once again, simulation can weigh different options, and allow for ChisTech to recommend several options which will ensure that you are being as water efficient as possible.

Some businesses even oscillate between these two strategies depending on the season, and in these cases, using the wrong plan at the wrong time can be expensive, or even dangerous. Ensure you have the best chance of getting the most of your location and minimise your water costs!
